FAQs
What services do you offer and what does LMFT mean?
1
I offer individual, couple, or family therapy via Telehealth. LMFT stands for licensed marriage and family therapy. This doesn’t mean that I only work with couples and families. It means that, even with individuals, I use a systemic perspective and work to give you a new and unique way of viewing things. As a professional with this license, I have completed a masters program in Marriage and Family Therapy, a 4500-hour supervisory period, and passed the state exam.
Do you work with children or teens?
2
Yes — I work with children aged 10 and up, and I typically involve parents in the process. My priority is to create a safe space for your child while also supporting both of you in improving communication, strengthening your relationship, and fostering an emotionally safe home.
Do you take insurance?
3
Unfortunately, at this time I do not work with any insurance directly, although I do try to utilize any out-of-network benefits you may have. This is something that can be checked before scheduling for a first session and discussed more during our consultation.
How can I contact you?
